Great local eatery on the Lake. Yes, this is the place where Ozarks was filmed. Restaurant was quite busy and filled up fast. Service was excellent. I ordered the smoked wings. Also, got JD's Kentucky Mule. Prices are on point, and it is a great place for a good lunch. Highly recommend. Shelby was our Server. She was awesome. Very nice, informative and quick. I highly recommend this joint if in the area and looking for some good lunch fare with a great relaxing Lake view.
Can't speak to the food or drinks as we stopped by on a day they were closed. But. Ozarks. So we had to stop and snap a few pics!! Staff was super chill.
Stopped by JD’s the other night and had the best catfish I’ve ever tasted—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The band was amazing and added such a fun energy to the place. Our server, Jocelyn, was so kind, attentive, and just made the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibes, and great people. Can’t wait to come back and try all of the other yummy food!
Went there to try the burgers and didn't disappoint. Fresh buns and big great fries. Had the bacon cheeseburgers. The service was great and fast and friendly. If you liked the Ozark show, it is nice to check out.
Spent a Saturday with some friends on the lake and came here for dinner. A buddy of mine had the Catfish and wasn’t too impressed as it was quite dry but the rest of the food was delicious; fantastic shrimp! Service was impeccable & we throughly enjoyed the entertainment. Looking forward to coming back!
Fried pickles Hush puppies Wings Bbq pork sandwich Everything was good except the poke bowl. Pretty presentation but not flavorful. The drinks and food are overpriced, but with the atmosphere it makes up for it. Had a band on Saturday night and the area is on the sand so I wouldn’t wear heels to this place. The age group seemed to be late 30’s to 50’s. The waitresses all seemed to be in their early 20’s. Overall great experience and location.
Best pickle chips and catfish I’ve ever had—hands down. I order pickle chips everywhere, and these are my #1 in Georgia. Our waitress, Jocelyn, had us laughing all night—ask for her! Amazing food, incredible vibes... you can’t have a bad time here.
It’s on the opposite end of the lake from where we stay, but well worth the boat ride up there. Fantastic service every time we go. The calabash shrimp is our favorite. They also have a good salad, and cold beer! They also have added additional boat docking!
